I've had a love for stones from a very young age, firstly sitting on the front door step swapping beads with my best friend Lin. After growing out of our bead box we graduated to ordinary pebbles found in the garden although these were never ordinary to us. Each stone carefully washed ready for hours of swapping.

Nowadays it's far more grown up I've got a collection of at least 50 carved elephants each one made from a different semi precious gem stone. For those of you who wonder about the name Betty's Gems, I named the company after my Mum who sadly passed away in March of 2006, she also loved sparkly Gems.

I hope you enjoy looking through this collection. All the yellow/white gold is hallmarked and the gem stones accurately sized. I hold certificates for each piece so you can purchase with knowledge that it's all genuine. You could purchase costume jewellery from any high street store at the same price but it's not Silver, Gold or genuine gems!!

Anyone can find blue sapphires in local jewellers but what about Orange, Sunset, Golden & Pink sapphires - LOOK NO FURTHER. I've searched jewellers in many locations and can't find gems like Alexandrite, Tsavorite, Diopside & Rubellite Betty's Gems has them all.
